A Not For Profit Educational, Research and Membership Association
for practitioners, providers, administrators, and educators
of the complementary,alternative and Integrative medical and health care
profession.
Members of the Association for Integrative Health Care Practitioners
will participate in a variety of ongoing programs and events
initiated and or sponsored by the Association. The primary focus of
this association is to initiate events of substantial significance
having an impact on the professional development and integrity of
the integrative health Care Industry. Regulatory representation,
educational conferences and seminars, programs involving research
projects, networking and regularly scheduled periodicals and a
variety of support services will be available to all members. The
public will also have the opportunity to participate in several
special activities and services.
The Association has formed relationships with appropriate agencies
that allow this Association to monitor current industry events,
changing trends in law and legislative issues and to provide instant
bulletins to all association members using the latest technologies
available.
The Association will host or sponsor special programs leading to
continued professional development, education and credentialing.
The Association for Integrative Health Care Practitioners represents
its membership at appropriate federal, state, local government
and Insurance regulatory agencies in an effort to assist in the
establishment of reimbursement and licensing protocols for qualified
Integrative Medical Practitioners and Providers.
The Association for Integrative Health Care Practitioners formed a
vision to establish or affiliate with Integrative Medical Facilities
in every state for the treatment and research of Illness utilizing
both traditional and non-traditional (Complementary and Alternative)
treatment modalities.
The Association for Integrative Health Care Practitioners set goals
to establish educational opportunities such as medical Internships,
medical clerkships, and externships in Integrative Health Care on
behalf of its membership body.
The Association will initiate an effort to encourage appropriate
educational institutions of complementary and alternative health
care education and training to become accredited and to foster
a unified standard in education, training and research, clinical
practices and professional development.
The Association will join forces with research facilities, programs
and projects to support the efforts of practitioners and herbalist
to keep members abreast of current developments and trends.
The Association will join forces with the business community to
develop greater financial, marketing and investment opportunities
for the membership.
The Association will establish financial resources to assist
practitioners.
The Association will establish cooperative relationships with
medical practice development firms in an effort to help struggling
medical practices survive.
The application process for membership includes a credential and
experience verification procedure by our Committee on Professional
Standards, Credentialing and Membership. This committee is a
professional peer review panel that ensures the sovereignty of our
association standards of membership, the membership body and our
mission. Only qualified and committed practitioners or providers
earn membership and certification. Declined candidates will receive
a full refund of prepaid annual membership dues.
The recognition of the Integrative Health Care Practitioner or
Provider, as a developing profession responding to evolving changes
in health care delivery is paramount to our efforts to provide
our membership with educational programs, seminars, research,
networking and support services.
We encourage your affiliation with this unique Association of
Integrative Health Care Practitioners and Providers with an avowed
purpose to encourage professional development, public recognition,
and acceptance.
We encourage members to proudly display their earned credential at
the work place and home. Members that sponsor new enrollees receive
special incentives for their efforts in encouraging professional
development and the furtherance of the Integrative Health Care
Profession.
New members are certified and recognized as an Integrative Health
Care Practitioner or Provider, along with a notation of the
appropriate earned professional discipline. (Such as Physician,
Registered Nurse, Chiropractor or Herbalist, Etc.) We mail
certificates with wallet size identification cards within two to
three weeks after approval of membership.
