The vision and mission of the Association for Integrative Health Care Practitioners is to provide its members with the best support, education, and networking services possible. As a non-profit educational and professional health care practitioner membership association, we are committed to our concept 'Working for you and Advocacy.' Our mission is to achieve professional practice independence and insurance reimbursement policies for practitioners of Integrative health care and providers. This effort gains greater impetus with each new member.

An application process, which includes a credential review and verification procedure by our Committee on Professional Standards, Credentialing and Membership, ensures the sovereignty of our mission. The ultimate achievement of our goal becomes a reality with the recognition of the Integrative Health Care Practitioner and Provider as a true and viable Professional. Our mission becomes effective with our efforts to provide educational programs, seminars and networking events, creating a unique association of Integrative Health Care Practitioners and Providers.

With the success of this mission, the membership of the Association for Integrative Health Care Practitioners will encourage and acquire the respect, understanding and recognition privileged for a professional community of practitioners responding to the evolving changes in health care delivery.

It is not the intention of this Association to reinvent the complementary and alternative health care community, but to encourage professional recognition and public status.

Our Board of Directors consists of Professional Medical Practitioners, Naturopaths, Chiropractors, Dentist, Herbalist, Educators and Administrators, all committed to the concept of Integrative Health Care.

As a Non Profit Organization, board and committee members dedicate countless uncompensated hours to the development and future of this association and profession.

The Association for Integrative Health Care Practitioners is located in downtown Norfolk, Virginia. We have available space for conferences, and meetings within walking distance of our offices.

The Waterside Resort Area provides for wonderful entertainment and relaxation. Hotel and dining accommodations are available with or without reservations.
