Practitioner Registration
The following steps are required to become a candidate for
Diplomat in Integrative Medicine:
(Physicians, Physician Assistants,Naturopaths,Chiropractors,Nurses) or
Diplomat in Integrative Allied Health Care:
(Non Physician or Allied Health Practitioners)
1. Prepare a resume in the chronological outline format
2. Attach copies of all supporting educational and
honorarium documents including transcripts and manuscripts of writings or publications.
3. Include two professional letters of recommendation.(Personal and Professional)(Our staff may contact them)
4. Make a one time payment of $ 500.00 via this web site
or mail the payment along with your registration package. (See
Refund Policy)
· Completely submitted documents for the Diplomat
credential are acknowledged. Payment Receipts are mailed immediately.
· The American Integrative Medical Association issues a
certified credential when approved by the peer review committee.
Allow three to four weeks to complete the credential review,
verification process and the Peer Review Board approval.
Check payments require an additional week for clearance and
bank processing.
You may request that the Association not publish your candidacy or acceptance.

**Registration for the Diplomat credential and Membership
in the Association for Integrative Health Care Practitioners:
Candidates for the Diplomat Credential can apply
for membership with the Association for Integrative Health Care
Practitioners simultaneously at the rate of $500.00 + AIHCP Membership Fee.
Annual Diplomat and AIHCP membership renewal $150.00 + AIHCP Membership Renewal Fee.

Mail the AIHCP application including your resume, references and
supporting documents our registrar.

Natural Product Registration and Endorsement:
· To request the American Integrative Medical Association
Registration and Recognition of a natural product.
· Provide written statement releasing the American
Integrative Medical Association of any liability or legal claims.
· Present evidence and documentation of all claims made.
· Make a one time Payment of $3,500.00 via this web site
or mail the payment along with your registration package. (See
Refund Policy)
· All materials and samples submitted are subject to verification and become the sole property of this Association.
· The American Integrative Medical Association consults
with Independent laboratories, scientist, medical specialist and government agencies
in order to achieve a decision.
· The American Integrative Medical Association will
issue a License of Recognition and Acceptance Certificate on approval of
the Board, which authorizes the producers of the natural product limited authority to advertise the Product Endorsement on package labeling and other related publications using the AIMA name and logo.

Certification Renewal:
Annual re-certification fee of $150.00, plus an additional
processing fee of 45.00 is required to maintain an Active
Status with the American Integrative Medical Association.
Submit an updated resume with evidence of completing at
least one (1) approved Continuing Medical Education program
or attendance of two (2) Continuing Medical Education Seminars
during the previous registration period.

Refund Policy:
All requests for consideration by the American Integrative
Medical Association are immediately processed. Therefore,
candidates must notify the registrar in writing of an interest to withdrawl from consideration within three business days
after the initial application and credentials submission.
The American Integrative Medical Association will refund your
full payment minus $75.00, which constitutes the administrative
cost of handling your request for consideration. Refunds take
approximately Two - three weeks to process after the registrar receives
your written request for cancellation. In the event, the Review
Board denies your request for consideration the above noted refund policy applies.
